Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist / AR Analyst

Location: Multiple locations across the United States – Noida, Gurugram, Bangalore, Chennai, Trichy, Hyderabad, Mohali, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi Type: Full-time, Work from Office opportunity available Salary: Competitive, Compensation ranges from 350,000 to 900,000 lakh P.A. depending on experience and profile

Qualifications Required:

• Graduate from a recognized university
• For medical coding and medical transcription profiles, candidates should hold a B.Sc. degree or above and must be certified coders by (AMA)

Medical Billing Job Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in various areas including:
  • Knowledge of insurance guidelines such as HMO/PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer requirements and systems.
  • Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 Coding.
  • Effective communication abilities for phone contacts with insurance payers to resolve issues.
  • Customer service skills for interacting with patients regarding medical claims and payments, including diverse ages and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, triage priorities, delegate tasks if needed, and handle conflicts.
  • Problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies, denials, appeals, and collections.
  • Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
  • Ensure the patient’s medical information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collect and review referrals and pre-authorizations.
  • Follow-up on missed payments and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Examine patient bills for accuracy and request any missing information.
  • Investigate and appeal denied claims.
  • Maintain billing software by updating rate changes, cash spreadsheets, and current collection reports.
