Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins based on project requirements.
Design and implement custom themes and plugins for better performance and scalability.
Work with the WordPress REST API to integrate third-party services and applications.
Implement advanced features such as WooCommerce, membership systems, and dynamic content solutions.
Collaborate with designers to create pixel-perfect UI/UX experiences.
Work closely with backend developers for smooth data flow between frontend and backend systems.

Stay updated with the latest WordPress technologies, tools, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience & Skills

2-3 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Expertise in WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and custom post types.
Experience with WooCommerce and other e-commerce integrations.
Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
Knowledge of Shopify development is an added advantage.
